The RM2,001–RM3,000 band became the largest by 2022, while the RM3,001+ share reached 25.5% in 2023; respondent counts are small, so the series should be read cautiously.

- Income bands are nominal and are not adjusted for inflation.
- From years marked by MOHE, graduates working with family without wages/salary are excluded from the salary denominator.
