Method & notes
A growing share moved above RM3,000, while the RM1,001–RM2,000 band became smaller—but this remains a tracer-study distribution, not a guaranteed starting salary.
METHOD & LIMITATIONSHistorical employed-respondent salary distribution, not a salary guarantee.
PulseKita reproduces MOHE's published salary-band shares for employed first-degree respondents. Each frame is one survey year and the bars show the share in each monthly-income band.
- Historical Graduate Tracer Study series; it is not a current 2026 salary benchmark.
- The denominator is employed first-degree respondents, not all graduates.
- From 2021 onward, MOHE excludes graduates working with family without wages/salary from this salary table.
- Salary bands are nominal and are not adjusted for inflation.
