Which schools led Malaysia's published SPM GPS tables?

Across the reviewed tables, different school systems repeatedly appear near the top — SBP, MRSM, private and tahfiz institutions — which is exactly why the source and year must stay visible.

How the numbers were calculated

PulseKita normalises school names across three broad published SPM GPS compilations for 2023, 2024 and 2025 so movement can be animated consistently. These are not official Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia national rankings. The underlying tables combine different school systems and are best read as published-result comparisons, not a complete measure of school quality, admissions competitiveness or teaching effectiveness.

• 2023: Maahad Tahfiz Negeri Pahang led the reviewed published table with GPS 1.070.
• 2024: Akademi Sains Pendang led the reviewed published table with GPS 0.380.
• 2025: Akademi Sains Pendang led the reviewed published table with GPS 0.910.
• Lower GPS means a stronger average SPM result.
• The public tables are incomplete representations of all Malaysian schools and may differ between publishers.
