Method & notes
IN BRIEF

The one-day series measures fit-to-register non-strata transfers, not all property transactions.

METHOD & LIMITATIONS

How the numbers were calculated

PulseKita transcribes Table 1 from JKPTG's LAND 2024 journal article. The one-day programme covers complete, fit-to-register landed-property transfers handled by Peninsular Malaysia land offices. It excludes strata transfers and submissions held back for incompleteness or further investigation.

  • 2015: 307,827 of 328,321 submissions were registered within one day (93.76%).
  • 2019: 279,011 of 288,612 were completed within one day (97.80%).
  • 2022: 293,690 of 336,047 were completed within one day (90.08%).
  • A lower achievement rate is not a count of failed ownership transfers; it means the transaction was not completed within the one-day KPI window.
  • The source attributes the 2020-2022 decline partly to pandemic restrictions, reduced office operations, document backlogs and staff quarantine requirements.
