PulseKita reproduces the official data.gov.my Car Popularity Explorer ranking, which aggregates JPJ car-registration transactions. Registration is not the same as retail sales, and the 2026 figure is year-to-date through 31 August.
- Perodua Bezza led 2026 registrations through August with 65,697.
- Proton Saga was second with 59,367 and Perodua Axia third with 52,145.
- Perodua was also the leading make with 219,559 registrations.
- These are registration transactions, not manufacturer sales deliveries.
