METHOD & LIMITATIONS

How the numbers were calculated

PulseKita reproduces the SSDM student-involvement figures cited in Parliament's 2025 select-committee report on school bullying. This metric is kept separate from annual bullying case counts.

  • 2022: 3,887 students involved; 2023: 5,891; Jan–Oct 2024: 5,703.
  • The 2024 figure is partial through October and must not be compared as if it were a complete calendar year.
  • Students involved are not the same statistical unit as bullying cases. A case can involve more than one student.
  • This series should not be joined numerically to the 2021–2025 annual case series.
