How did selected public asset declarations change in 2018–2019?

The 2018–2019 records show that declared figures can change between updates while scope and reasons are not necessarily explained.

How the numbers were calculated

This is NOT a ranking of Malaysia's richest politicians. PulseKita plots only three records with explicit 2018 figures and 2019 updates in Malaysiakini's review of the MACC asset-declaration portal. Declaration scope can differ by person, spouse and date, and reasons for changes were not published.

• Mahathir Mohamad: RM32.3579 million in the 2018 record; RM32.21713171 million in the November 2019 update.
• Wan Azizah Wan Ismail & Anwar Ibrahim: RM1.14156232 million in 2018; RM0.67239263 million in 2019.
• Isnaraissah Munirah Majilis: RM0.120025 million in 2018; RM0.280025 million in 2019.
• Changes cannot be read directly as investment gains, losses or true net worth without consistent asset/liability scope and declaration methods.
• The dataset is deliberately small so PulseKita does not manufacture a political rich list from non-uniform disclosures.
