RM314 million: what happened to the JPJ money?
The Transport Minister says MYEG/Zetrix collected RM314 million in government revenue between 19 May and 30 September 2026 that was not remitted to the Ministry of Transport's main revenue account. Zetrix has confirmed the JPJ suspension and says discussions are ongoing.

The Transport Minister says RM314 million in JPJ revenue collected by My E.G. Sdn Bhd and Zetrix AI was not remitted to the Ministry of Transport's Main Revenue Account.
Zetrix AI confirmed the temporary JPJ service suspension and said it was in discussions to resolve the issues. Its brief Bursa response did not set out a detailed response to the RM314 million figure.

The RM314m government-stated outstanding remittance is about one-quarter of Zetrix's RM1.335b FY2025 revenue.
It is also more than one-third of Zetrix's RM870.7m FY2025 attributable net profit.
According to the Transport Minister, a cheque for the then outstanding amount was submitted on 21 August but was not processed when presented on 30 September.

The ministry and JPJ say they issued 35 reminder notices and held four engagement sessions with stakeholders.
The companies submitted a cheque dated 30 September for RM231 million, representing the arrears stated at that point.
The Transport Minister says the bank did not process the cheque after receiving instructions from the company.
JPJ announced that MYEG Group collection-agent services would be suspended effective 12:01am on 5 October.
