METHOD & LIMITATIONS

Monthly totals summed from audited daily headline ridership.

PulseKita sums the published daily headline ridership figures within each calendar month for each service. The source is built from anonymous ticketing or tap-in/out transactions and is audited before publication.

  • Ridership counts trips, not unique individuals.
  • Service histories begin at different dates, so a missing service in early frames does not mean zero demand before launch.
  • Prasarana line-level headline totals should not be reconstructed from origin-destination data because interchange attribution is methodologically different.
  • The latest month can be partial only if the source itself is incomplete; PulseKita does not extrapolate.
