This view measures households with Internet access, complementing PulseKita's separate individual-usage story.
METHOD & LIMITATIONSHow the numbers were calculated
PulseKita reads DOSM's hh_access_internet dataset and uses only the overall stratum for each state. The series is survey-based and covers households living in private dwellings.
- This measures household access, not individual Internet usage and not broadband subscriptions.
- The latest official dataset covers 2025 and was updated on data.gov.my on 30 September 2026.
- Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya are fully urban, but this story uses the overall measure for every state so the comparison remains consistent.
- Household access and individual usage answer different questions and are kept as separate PulseKita stories.
